Al Amal Automotive plans to assemble 3 new models in 2018

Al Amal Automotive Industries, BYD, Lada and King Long are planning to assemble three new models in preparation for the launch in the first quarter of next year.

Gamal Amin, a member of the board of directors of the company, told the “ALMAL” that the company pumped over the past two months about 40 million pounds, in order to create production lines for the assembly of the whole new S5, belonging to the Chinese brand BYD, which was officially unveiled during Events of the Cairo International Motor Show “Automac – Formela”, end of last month.

Amin disclosed the success of the negotiations with a Chinese company to assemble Mini Fan, a capacity of 7 passengers, in addition to a light transport truck, in the company’s factories in the tenth of Ramadan city.

He pointed out that the plant can produce about 80 cars a day, and the current operational capacity of up to 40 cars, during one rosy work.

It also revealed that the production lines assembled about 5,700 cars during the first ten months of this year, divided into 4,000 cars from the Chinese brand BYD, 1000 units of the Russian manufacturer Lada’s Granta, and 700 micro-bus King Long.
